Noelia de Freitas est une harpiste et pianiste française. 

Originaire de Corse, elle est à l’initiative de la création de la classe de harpe du Conservatoire Henri Tomasi. 

Elle y obtient un prix de piano à l’âge de 17 ans, puis poursuit ses études de harpe à l’IESM d’Aix-en-Provence auprès de Catherine Michel, avant d’intégrer la Haute École de Musique de Genève dans la classe de Sandrine Chatron. Elle y obtient un master d’orchestre en 2022, suivi d’un master de pédagogie en 2024.

Elle se distingue dans de nombreux concours et festivals : Ponte Cultura à Vero (1er prix), Concours International Prattè en Suède, 13e édition du Concours International de Harpe aux Etats Unis à Bloomington, Festival de musique de Monaco…

Artiste polyvalente, passionnée et engagée, Noelia se produit régulièrement en soliste, avec divers orchestres ou en musique de chambre, en France, en Suisse ainsi qu’à l’international (Angleterre, Suède, Allemagne, Brésil).

Parallèlement à sa carrière d’interprète, Noelia se consacre avec passion à l’enseignement, œuvrant à transmettre son art avec rigueur et sensibilité, profondément attachée au développement et au rayonnement de la harpe.

Biography

Noelia de Freitas is a French harpist and pianist.

Originally from Corsica, she initiated the creation of the harp class at the Conservatoire Henri Tomasi.

She earned a piano prize there at the age of 17, then continued her harp studies at the IESM in Aix-en-Provence with Catherine Michel, before joining the Haute École de Musique de Genève in Sandrine Chatron’s class. She obtained a Master’s degree in orchestral performance in 2022, followed by a Master’s in pedagogy in 2024.

She has distinguished herself in numerous competitions and festivals: Ponte Cultura in Vero (first prize), International Competition Prattè in Sweden, the 13th USA International Harp Competition in Bloomington, and the Monaco Music Festival.

A versatile, passionate, and committed artist, Noelia regularly performs as a soloist, with various orchestras, and in chamber music, in France, Switzerland, as well as internationally (England, Sweden, Germany, Brazil).

Alongside her performing career, Noelia devotes herself passionately to teaching, striving to transmit her art with rigor and sensitivity, deeply committed to the development and promotion of the harp.
